Kandaku yang rajin memasak

Rajin?.. boleh la.. sekali sekala pandai surprise. Seronok jugak.. Gambar ni dah lama dah.. ikut tarikh pada gambar 11 Ogos 2009.. tak pose pun lagi.. time tu officemate kitorang udin, dok bagi cempedak berbakul-bakul.. malam ni tak leh tido, belek2 album terjumpa lah gambar ini.. :)

Tak ingatlah kisahnya.. malam-malam buta tetiba je bau cempedak goreng.. uhuhu...

Pokok Mulberry ku sudah berbuah

During the last Hari Raya balik kampung, my MIL gave me four mulberry trees for me to plant here at home. Two were planted in my backyard garden (yang sekangkang kera je tu). I gave one to my mother and there is one more left. Planning to breed some more so that i can give them to my uncle and cousins.



Alhamdulillah.. the tree which i kept for breeding is started to fruit. There are two bunches of the fruit, but they are not ripe yet. Can't wait for the fruits to ripen. I am keen on trying to make mulberry jam myself but it will never happen with only two bunches of mulberry! ahaha... I have to wait for more lah.



Actually, its not the fruit that we are awaiting for. It is the leaves! Sedap!... Yes! we can eat the leaves. Eat them as ulam. Dip in hot boiling water for seconds to soften the leaves then serve with sambal belacan (campur tomato pun sodap!). uhuhu... so delicious.. mengancam! :p

Took all available leaves this morning, so I have to wait for them to grow more next time.

Small Shell Pasta Berkuah

I was thinking of sambal telur and sayur campur for lunch when i saw this small shell pasta yang tak luak-luak tu. Once cook with tomato sauce - bolognese style as usual but kanda didn't seems to like it much. He said because of its' texture.. Tak sesuai katanya.. All right then.. better to try it with other style of cooking. Maybe i should try it with soup. Hantam saja lah! :p



Small Shell Pasta Berkuah

Panaskan air
Masukkan pasta dan rebus anggaran 15-20 minit
Setelah masak, toskan dan biarkan di tepi

Ketuk dan tumis bawang putih
Masukkan hirisan halia (boleh skip kalau tak suka rasa pedas halia)
Setelah agak kekuningan
Masukkan carrot
Kobis bunga
Tambahkan sedikit air
Tambah stok ayam (kiub ayam)
Biarkan carrot dan kobis bunga agak empuk
Tambah black pepper, lada sulah dan sedikit sos tiram
Tambah garam secukup rasa
Gaulkan rata
Masukkan bancuhan satu sudu besar tepung gandum dengan air
Kacau lagi sehingga kuah agak pekat
Masukkan pasta yang telah ditoskan tadi
Masukkan juga brokoli
Jika kuah terlalu pekat, boleh la tambah air
Masukkan hirisan lada merah bagi yang suka pedas
Siap dihidang

* Lagi sedap kalau letak chicken ball.. ada dalam fridge.. dah siap masak baru terpk :p

Komen kanda?.. 'sedap! sedap!... ' :p

Bubur Jagung

I am in my cooking-and-posting mood.. :p ehehe..
Kanda help himself with oat campur pisang and me? had myself eating two bars of kit kat for breakfast. Tu pun dah rasa kenyang.. alhamdulillah...
10 am started to carve for food. Tu lerr.. 2 bars of kit kat tu kenyang ker?.. :p Tengok dalam cupboard ada dua tin jagung krim. Ok la.. kita masak bubur jagung!.. nyum nyum...



Bubur Jagung
Panaskan dalam periuk secawan air
Campurkan dua sudu besar gula
Masukkan satu tin jagung
Masukkan sago yang telah direndam
Bila sago dah agak kembang, masukkan susu cair setengah cawan
Tambah garam secukup rasa
Masukkan sesudu besar tepung kastad yang dah dibancuh dengan air utuk pekatkan kuah
Biarkan seketika dan sedia untuk dihidang


* Jagung dalam tin ada dua jenis, Cream Style ngan yang biji-biji. Kalau suka jagung yang hancur, guna yang Cream Style. Yang biji-biji tu memang nampak la jagung sebiji.. (eh bukan sebiji.. tak de tin beso muat jagung sebiji! kiranya nampak la butiran jagung tu)

* Tak de tepung kastad, tepung jagung pun ok jek...

* Tadik dah separuh masak baru pasan stok susu cair dah abis. Selalu ada je backup dalam cupboard tu.. rasa macam baru je beli.. cek balik tengok2 ada empat tin susu pekat je... ahaha... dah la semalam baru je bukak satu tin.. masih ada lagi empat..
yang satu tu pun ntah bila nk abis.. So alternatifnya saya gunakan susu segar yang ada dalam fridge tu. Tapi jadiknya agak cair sedikit la..

Ayam Masak Halia


This is what we had for lunch. Teringin pulak nak makan ala-ala chinese style.. Resipi? sangat simple. Meh kita share sama-sama... :)

Ayam Masak Halia
  1. Tumis bawang putih yang telah diketuk
  2. Bila agak kekuningan, masukkan hirisan halia (agak-agak setengah inci)
  3. Biarkan sehingga halia agak kekuningan
  4. Masukkan ayam yang dah dilumur garam
  5. Goreng ayam tu hingga separuh masak
  6. Masukkan air
  7. Tambah sesudu besar sos Tiram
  8. Tambah sesudu besar kicap pekat
  9. Tambah garam jika perlu
  10. Tutup kuali dan biarkan ayam betul-betul masak
  11. Bila ayam dah masak, masukkan tepung jagung yang telah dibancuh dengan air
  12. Kacau sehingga pekat dan sedia untuk diangkat
  13. Untuk hiasan, boleh tabur hirisan lada dan daun bawang


*kalo nak pedas boleh tambah black pepper sket
